Justin Timberlake's legal team is preparing to mount a vigorous defense following the pop star's recent arrest for suspected drunk driving on Long Island. Attorney Edward Burke Jr. issued a statement in response to the allegations, emphasizing their commitment to challenging the charges.
The incident unfolded late Tuesday night in Sag Harbor, where Timberlake was driving a grey BMW with Florida license plates. According to police reports, he was observed swerving on the road and failing to stop at a stop sign before being pulled over.
The arresting officer noted Timberlake's apparent intoxication, citing bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and a strong smell of alcohol. Timberlake allegedly admitted to having consumed one martini earlier in the evening but claimed he was following friends home.
